Sorobon Beach Resort consists of 26 one bedroom chalets, the 3 bedroom Cas Grandi, the 2 bedroom Cas Chikitu, 2 Honeymoon suites and 3 Studios. Most of the one bedroom chalets have connecting doors to increase the capacity to a Two bedroom Family chalet.
The accommodations are situated in two half circles and are not more than 150 feet (50 meters) away from the private beach. Almost all of the chalets have a breathtaking view over the bay with its colorful life both above and below the surface.
Chalets are simple but roomy (516 square feet of living space for a one bedroom) and have been recently updated. All have AC, queen size beds, sofa sleepers, some with kitchens, bathroom with shower, living room and furnished porches.
Sorobon is a 15-20 minute drive to Bonaire's many dive operations on the west coast. East Coast Divers depart just up the road on Lac Bay, offering daily boat trips to the wild and less frequently visited East Coast dive sites. Sorobon Beach Resort has the easiest access to the fringing reef of Lac Bay, providing some of the island's most sensational snorkeling.
Guests enjoy complimentary Continental breakfast each morning served in the main dining area. The resort's Courses Restaurant and Beach bar serves lunch and dinner with a variety of international offerings featuring Caribbean and International influences. Meal plans are available.
Sorobon is less than 20 minutes drive to groceries and dining in Kralendijk. Both of the adjacent windsurf centers (Jibe City and Bonaire Windsurf Place) offer daily lunch, snacks and drinks at the beachfront cafes.
Sorobon Beach Resort rewards guests with the island’s best beach along with shade cabanas, lounge chairs and beach towels for your private use. Kayaks are available to explore the shallow bay and mangroves.
The resort provides a small library, free wireless internet and a service desk for car, bike and scooter rental as well as bookings for outdoor activities and guided tours.
Bonaire’s two windsurf centers are right next door and some of the best snorkeling on the island is directly in front on Lac Bay’s protecting reef.
