Hamlet Oasis Bungalows

Hamlet Oasis is a complex of 19 cottage-style bungalows at the northern end of Bonaire’s hotel row. Only a couple of minutes walk to the ocean, these economical accommodations, clustered around a palm tree shaded pool, offer guests a quiet and relaxing stay.

Rooms: The Hamlet Oasis bungalows can be rented as a studio, a 1-bedroom apartment or as a 2-bedroom bungalow (the studio and 1- bedroom apartment combined form the entire 2-bedroom unit) – all include a kitchenette with refrigerator and cook top, coffee maker, utensils, linens, towels, cable TV and lap top sized room safe. Bedrooms have air conditioning and living areas have ceiling fans -- all units have a covered porch with table and chairs as well. Each bungalow has an outdoor rinse shower and a midweek cleaning is included in your stay.

Diving: Guests enjoy ocean access only 50 yards away with snorkeling and shore diving at ‘Cliff’ dive site. Dive Friends Bonaire operates a dive station onsite at the water’s edge with tank fills, rentals and equipment. Captain Don’s Habitat is adjacent to Hamlet with Buddy Dive Resort next door -- both with full service dive centers and daily boat departures.

Dining: You can walk to Rum Runners at Captain Don’s for breakfast, lunch and dinner, as well as several nearby bars and restaurants. Units have equipped kitchens and a small grocery can be found across the street with others less than 10 minutes drive away in Kralendijk.

Amenities: Hamlet Oasis’ private pool and terrace, hidden among palm trees and native landscaping, is indeed an oasis for quiet relaxation. Wireless internet access is available here and at the nearby office. About 2 miles from Kralendijk and easy access to northern shore dive sites like Karpata and 1000 Steps. Managed by Bonaire Partners, guests have 24/7 phone access to their team as well as office staff on site.
