Sonrisa Boutique Hotel is a two-story, modern colonial complex with only 8 hotel rooms and 2 apartments with kitchens. Guests enjoy a secluded setting within its walled garden, a short walk from restaurants and activities.

Rooms: The hotel rooms at Sonrisa are simple and stylish with king size beds, small refrigerator, electric water kettle, cable TV and sleek tiled bathrooms. The one bedroom apartments have a living area and fully equipped, modern kitchen and can be configured with adjoining hotel rooms as 2 or 3 bedroom apartments for larger parties. All units have furnished balconies or patios facing the pool or gardens, room safe, AC, ceiling fans and screened doors and windows to catch the cooling tradewinds.

Diving: And Windsurfing! Affiliated with Bonaire Windsurf Place, guests at Sonrisa enjoy special rental rates and shuttle service to their facility at Lac Bay twice a day. Several dive shops are conveniently nearby including Dive Bonaire at the Divi and Dive Friends at the Dive Inn – both less than 3 blocks away.

Dining: A complimentary breakfast with fruit, yogurt, dark roast coffee and a Bonairean breakfast sandwich is served from the office each day (you can take it back to your room or dine under their poolside palapa). Several grocery stores are close by (one less than a block away). Dozens of restaurants throughout Kralendijk are only a short walk away from Sonrisa.

Amenities: Sonrisa’s private pool and terrace, surrounded by palm trees and native landscaping, is an oasis for quiet relaxation. Their outdoor palapa shades tables and offers festive lighting at night beside their gas BBQ grill. Reliable high speed wireless internet is available throughout the property and rooms.
