When it comes to learning and developing windsurfing skills, there’s no place better than Lac Bay on Bonaire – especially for kids. Flat, shallow water, onshore wind, great instructors and gear — if you don’t believe us, come see what the local kids can do starting at about, oh, say 4 yrs old.
Jibe City is offering a special Kids Clinic throughout the summer. These three-day clinics run on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday every week in July and the first week of August. Here’s what’s included:
- Morning windsurf lessons for 3 days with professional instructors
- All windsurf equipment for the 3 mornings
- Lunch each day at the Hang Out restaurant and bar
- Mandatory Stinapa Nature fee
- Jibe City T-shirt
Clinic times are 9:30 AM to 1:30 PM and are offered to kids ages 7 to 17 yrs. Cost is $200.00 per student. We can help you get your vacation plans in order and sign up your child for a clinic. Think with me here — 9:30-1:30 … that’s a lot of sailing time or diving while the kids are learning how to rip! We like that.

Maybe … but how old are you? Just kidding — they are typically only offered during summer vacation periods.
