We did some research in SABRE this morning (that’s the technology company we connect to that compiles the largest database of flight info in the world for reservation systems, and, incidentally, is based in our hometown of Southlake). You should be booking your June vacation to Bonaire right now! Here’s why.
Continental resumes its Sunday-Sunday flight from Houston and Delta resumes its Saturday-Saturday flight from JKF, both starting the weekend of Jun 13th (remember, the Continental flight is a red-eye and leaves for Bonaire late Saturday night from Houston). Both of these flights are temporarily mothballed during May. Folks are generally unaware of exactly when they start back, and most of these flights still have cheap seats available. Both Continental and Delta have fare sales in progress for travel through June 30, and purchase is required by April 14th. There are quite a few U.S. cities that have easy connections to these flights. Check out their fares:
JFK – $428 / BOS – $426 / PHL – $536 / BWI – $536 >>> Delta via JFK
DFW – $333 / ORD – $525 / LAX – $609 / EWR – $428 >>> Continental via Houston or Newark
U.S. taxes and airport fees add another $60-$65 to these fares. Go to www.delta.com or www.continental.com to search dates and schedules. You’ll find plenty of cheap package deals at www.bonairepros.com to go with them (and yes, we can put a reservation on hold prior to your purchase of airfare). Confused?
