What to expect:
The combination of their large beach, modest
accommodations,
casual Bongos Beach Bar and friendly WannaDive dive operation
create the laid-back island scene that
is Eden Beach Resort. Guests enjoy an economical
oceanfront vacation with
basic rooms, reasonable rates and resort style amenities
in an oceanfront location.
Rooms:
Eden Beach Resort offers hotel rooms, studios
and 2 bedroom apartments in
a complex totaling 50 units – many with views of
the ocean. All include AC, TV, queens or twin beds, telephone,
safes, maid service and balconies or patios. Studios
and apartments include kitchens.
Internet access is available. Furnishings are basic.
Diving: Wannadive
Bonaire operates
the friendly on-site dive shop, with PADI dive instruction,
rentals and sales. WannaDive provides a drive up station
for tank exchange for shore divers as well as daily
boattrips on
their 29’ Privateer (10 divers maximum). Guided
shore dives at Lac Cai are
also offered for advanced divers. Three
wrecks are accessible directly
from their beach with ample marine life.
Dining: Bongos
Beach Bar and Restaurant provides
breakfast, lunch and dinner right on the beach. You’ll
enjoy dining underneath palm trees with
a nice selection of reasonably priced dishes, drinks and
cocktails. Weekly happy hour with music at the bar are
enjoyed by guests and locals alike. Bongos Beach Bar is barefoot
relaxation at
its best!
Amenities:
Eden Beach guests enjoy 2 pools (one
for kids) with sundeck, front desk services and the new Bonaire
Wellness Connexion health
and fitness center with exercise equipment and classes along
with kayak and mountain bike rentals. The expansive beach is fringed
with coconut palms and loungechairs and
there is a small pier and dock for swimming, diving and boat
access.
