Resort Bonaire is both an oceanfront resort
amidst lush tropical gardens and a marina hideaway
of sparkling lagunas feeding into the Caribbean.
Their array of amenities and offerings, spacious accommodations, palm-studded
beach (one of the island’s best) and proximity
to the capital of Kralendijk are unique on Bonaire.
The Plaza offers air-conditioned Suites with
2 queen size beds, TV, telephone, large bathrooms, mini-fridge,
room safe and hot water pot for tea or coffee. Larger Grand
Suites afford beachfront access and ocean views.
The Villas come with complete kitchens, 1
or 2 bedrooms and are fully air-conditioned. All
174 suites and villas have patios or balconies with
ocean or laguna views. Daily housekeeping is provided.
Toucan Diving is
the Plaza’s PADI
5-star, Gold Palm and IDC facility
-- with rentals, sales and instruction for all levels and
languages. Daily one-tank and two-tank boat trips are
offered (with 12 divers max) on their modern Island
Hoppers, along with weekly night dives and shore
diving with 24-hour tank access at
the beach and the Plaza’s own “18 Palms” dive
site.
Dining at the Plaza includes the Caribbean
Point for buffet breakfast and Banana Tree for
lunch and dinner, with the seaside Tipsy Seagull
Restaurant and Bar for cocktails, dinner and glorious
sunsets. The Coconut Crash Beach Bar is
a gathering spot for happy hour, entertainment and refreshments – just
steps away from the Plaza’s large swimming
pool and kid’s wading pool.

and night play. The popular Aqua Kids children’s
program is offered year round. A short walk
