Bonaire Culinary Team

The locals know it. The regular Bonaire visitors know it. We’re drooling just writing this. Bonaire’s chefs and bartenders, along with the variety of restaurants and cuisines offered on the island, are simply amazing. The creativeness and distinct quality of the Bonaire dining scene is evidenced by their recent success at the “Taste of the Caribbean” competition, held in Miami last month. The Bonaire Culinary Team brought home a Bronze medal for their three-course meal. And Jane Marie Coffie of the Divi Flamingo garnered the Overall Gold Medal in the bartender competition for her three drinks.

You’ll see Bonaire Dining as a regular feature in future newsletters. And we’re contemplating which one we’ll order from Jane Marie first – the “Divi Melon Coconut Cocktail”, “Callabas Reef” or the “Caribbean Breeze”!
