this September with plans underway including exciting specials

added at the Deco Stop Bar, completing the patio extension

for their vacation. According to Andy Reppeto, Managing Director
of BonairePros.com, “clients are constantly seeking unusual
accommodations with an ambiance that reflects the true style,

found the perfect property and are working hard to open Bon
Noche Lodge to our most discerning customers and Bonaire regulars.”
 The
property will feature old-world, Dutch Caribbean accommodations
with a nod toward the history of the island, including no air-conditioning
or running water, native landscaping tended by resident goats
and friendly service that rarely appears during your peaceful
stay. “We worked hard to get the right look and feel

Bonaire Heineken Jazz Festival 2006
Bonaire will be the center for Latin and
Caribbean Jazz from May 25-28, 2006 during the inaugural
Bonaire Heineken Jazz Festival. The festival, sponsored
by the Bonaire Jazz Foundation, will consist of 4 main
venues at Plaza Resort, City Café, Bongos Beach
Bar and Kontiki Beach Club. Concerts and events will be
held Friday through Sunday with Sunset Jazz Time, Main
Evening Concerts and late night Jazz and Jam sessions in
local restaurants, bars and public venues throughout the

Marine Park Tags
Reminder: All people using the waters around
Bonaire must pay the BNMP access fee - $25 per year or
$10 per day for scuba divers; $10 per year or $2 per day
for all others using Bonaire waters. Tags, which also provide
entrance to Washington-Slagbaai National Park for the year
they are valid, are available at locations throughout the
island. The BNMP has also launched a re-forestation of
Klein Bonaire project, with the objective to have fruit
plants that are native to Bonaire replanted on the island.
