PAYMENTS

We accept checks, Visa, Mastercard and money orders for land packages. American Express and Discover cards are accepted on some airfares. Deposits are typically due 7 days after reservation, with final pavements due 45 days prior to departure. Policy may vary with those policies of your vacation components.

PROOF OF CITIZENSHIP

This is required in the form of a passport or a certified copy of a birth certificate (with raised seal) with photo I.D. for all U.S. citizens (including children). Other nationalities should consult with the airline they are traveling with or the Bonaire Tourist Office (www.infobonaire.com).

BONAIRE DEPARTURE TAX

Payable ONLY at the airport when you leave the island (about $20.00 per person).

MARINE PARK FEE

A $10.00 for each diver is payable upon arrival to Bonaire and allows divers access to Bonaire waters for 1 year.

TRAVEL DOCUMENTS

Airline tickets, vouchers and final instructions are shipped approximately
21 days prior to your departure. We cannot be responsible for lost tickets
in the mail and you will be responsible for costs to replace tickets. We
suggest FED EX for an additional $10-$20 for traceable document delivery on
airline tickets.

CANCELLATION PENALTIES

They vary depending on the suppliers. Once cancellation has been made, you are subject to a $25.00 per person penalty, along with those penalties of the suppliers. Inquire with your agent for specific penalties of your trip. Cancellation insurance is suggested. Go to our home page for a link to the Travel Guard Insurance web site.

CAR RENTAL

Insurance, gas, tax and any additional charges above basic rental rates (additional driver fee, extra days, etc.) are not included and are payable upon return of vehicle unless noted. Driving is on the right hand side; foreign licenses accepted.

LODGING

We can request, but cannot guarantee specific room locations or bedding configurations.

RESPONSIBILITY

Great Southern Island Adventures / Great Southern Travel arranges travel, lodging, transportation, recreation and other services advertised and renders these services only as an agent for the customer and shall not be liable for any injury, accident, loss or inconvenience resulting from weather, labor dispute, government action, act of God, nor is it liable for any injuries from the various recreations or any act by person or company providing services for the customer. Acceptance of this travel plan by the customer shall constitute his/her acceptance of this limitation of liability.
